Lyndsey demonstrates what we like to see in the student athletes here at Montreat.  She strives for excellence on and off the court, to honor the Lord with every aspect of her life. Lyndsey's freshman year she received an Inspirational Award and her sophomore year at Montreat College she received the Cavalier Award. Lyndsey's junior year she earned the AAC All Academic Team and Servant Leadership Award. Lyndsey is very involved here at Montreat College. She serves as an RA and is also very involved in FCA.  Lyndsey is an extremely hard worker and good communicator on the court.  She talks well as a setter and is constantly encouraging her teammates.  I am very proud of Lyndsey, her work ethic, perseverance and the example she sets on and off the court.

  
2008 HIGHLIGHTS -JUNIOR

Totaled 41 services aces...ranked #5 in the AAC in service aces...Collected 195 digs in 2008...Recorded career highs in aces against Tusculum College with 4 aces and in digs against Covenant College and Mars Hill with 12.

Led the team and #6 in AAC in assists with 864 (7.32 avg.).

Led team, ranked #2 AAC, and ranked NAIA  #26 in assists with 918 (9.2 avg.).

What's your favorite non athletic hobby?
Artwork, I like to draw, paint work with clay...anything artsy

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to hang out with my friends, it doesn't matter what we are doing as long as I'm with them.

What are your pets and what are their names?
I have one Irish Setter dog named Caspian, and he is a really cute big red dog

Favorite thing about MC?
I love the community at Montreat, the people really are what make up the school and they are wonderful

Favorite thing about MC VB?
Being on a team that strives to glorify the one true God, wether we win or lose, by playing our best all of the time.

Hopes for after college?
I would love to be able to volunteer at different mission organizations around the world so I can serve others while traveling.
