2007-08: AAC Cross Country All-Freshman Team; NAIA National Championship Qualifier for the Marathon in Outdoor Track & Field; finished 19th at the NAIA nationals as the first freshman finisher.

Ben had a fantastic freshman campaign last year. I feel that he's come into this year with a great idea of the workload that is required to meet some of his high goals. I was really proud of him qualifying and competing admirably at the NAIA National Marathon Championship. He's a great leader and he's incredibly humble.
