COACH MOOBERRY'S THOUGHTS ON ALLIE
Allie is serving as one of our co-captains this year and as the floor captain. "Allie is a natural leader, she is fun, high energy, sets her standards high, and makes wise decisions on and off the court. Her heart for the Lord, for the girls on the team, and for Montreat College is obvious." In high school As a freshman last year Allie added to her list of accomplishments both on and off the court. Allie is a Montreat Scholar-Athlete, made the Deans List, was twice named the . She also made AAC 1st Team All-Conference, AAC All-Freshmen Team, and was the Montreat Team MVP.
"Allie leads by example both on and off the court. She is extremely athletic and pushes herself to be better every day. She is a positive encourager to her teammates, and extremely competitive. She pushes the team to step up and isn't afraid to ask for more from her teammates and herself. We expect to see Allie really stand out this season in both front and back row. She reads movement on the court well and sees the court. So she can adjust on defense and put the ball away on offense. Allie adds a tremendous amount to this team, not just in skills, but in her heart for her teammates and her desire to honor the Lord in everything."
Something that most people don't know about me is that I almost fell into the Grand Canyon. My dad caught me by my binocular strap.
My first car was a 1997 Saturn SL2. They lowered the price because the windows didn't work…and still don't work. It's name is Rooney.
My athletic role model growing up was Michael Jordan and Cheryl Swoops.
