COACH MOOBERRY'S THOUGHTS ON EMILY
Emily is a sophomore defensive specialist from North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, NC. Emily received the Coach's Award as a junior and was All-Conference in the Mountain Athletic Conference as a senior. "Emily is an extremely smart student and athlete. Emily graduated from NBHS with high honors and continues to excel here at Montreat. Emily is also smart in how she plays; she sees open areas of the court and makes wise and aggressive decisions.  Emily also increases the level of competitiveness on the court, she expects a lot out of herself, is loud on the court, and goes for everything. She has that "relentless pursuit," "this is my court," attitude…exactly what we want in a defensive specialist. Emily also adds consistency and strength to our serving. No doubt Emily will play a big role for us this year."

Something most people don't know about me is that I read books about nutrition before bed.

My first car was a '97 Ford Taurus.

My athletic role model growing up was Chipper Jones.

I picked my number because (#13) is the day I was born on.
