Coach Dasher is entering his 2nd season as Head Coach of the Cavaliers
2011/2012- Upon taking over the program in May, Dasher hoped
he could help the program move forward in excellence. It took some time for the Cavaliers to
believe but once they did the result was the school's first ever Men's Soccer
AAC Tournament Championship and appearance in the NAIA National
Tournament.
Dasher now hopes to finish the year with a strong Spring Season and is excited about the incoming recruits for the coming Fall.
2010/2011- Dasher coached at Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN, where he assisted the Scots in a 14-8-1 season and a 4th place finish at the NCCAA National Championships.
2008-2010- At 32 Shane was blessed with the opportunity to finish his collegiate soccer career at Northwest Christian University (NAIA) in Eugene Oregon. While finishing a degree in Sports Ministry, Dasher coached 2 seasons at Churchill High School where the program made back to back state championship runs. The last ended was a loss in the Oregon 5A Quarter Finals.
2006/2007- Coach Dasher and his wife spent a year ministering in the Philippines where he played and coached for the Davao Football Club. While there, his women's pro team finished third in the nation and boys U17 team won their Regional Championship.
2005/2006- Lane Community College (Eugene, Oregon) asked Shane to be responsible for the start-up of the college's women's soccer program. In their first season the Lancers finished 3rd in the conference with a winning record.
2001-2004- Coach Dasher spent three years as the Club Director
for Ambassador FC, a nationally competitive youth premiere club in Cleveland,
OH. Ambassadors in Sport, a global
soccer mission organization, also provided him the opportunity to play and
coach around the world. He was blessed to represent the US on a good will tour
to Africa which included games against South African pro teams and the Sudan's
National Team. He competed or coached on many other tours in countries
including Japan, Mozambique, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Coach Dasher has a passion to use soccer as a platform to reach
out and change the world. He has used the international language of soccer to
bring awareness to needed change and injustice. Above all this is the
excellence his teams will pursue.
He currently holds an NSCAA Premier Coaching Diploma and
USSF National Youth License.
Dasher lives in Black Mountain, North Carolina with his wife
Staci, who is expecting, daughters Analyse (6) and Adaniah (5), and son Lukah
(2).
