Montreat College finished 5th out of eight teams at the NGU-Cherokee Valley Invitational on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.   The Cavaliers were lead by senior Ben Cellamare of Fort Mill, SC with a two day total of (81-76=157).  Ben was tied for 13th place overall in the tournament.  Freshman Kyle Shuffler of Matthews, NC and Junior Matt Yost of Charlotte, NC tied for second on the Cavaliers team with a two day total of 158, (Kyle had 78-80=158), (Matt shot 81-77=158).  Drew Bakhshay from Sacramento, CA was fourth on the team with a two day total of (80-84=164).  Rounding out the scoring for the team was Sophomore Joel Watanabe from Charlotte, NC with scores of 88-85=173.

The men's team will also be at the Reinhardt University Invitational, this is the AAC Men's Spring Conference Tournament, on the 2 & 3, at the Callahan Golf Links.  The Fall event which we hosted back in September and the one at Reinhardt are combined together to determine the regular season champion for the AAC.
