ASHEVILLE, N.C. - La'Bris Adams of Montreat (N.C.) is the Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Adams helped the Cavaliers go 1-1 last week. Montreat is now 8-8 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

The 6-foot-2 sophomore guard averaged 24.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game last week. Adams' best game came in the 97-89 win over Bluefield (Va.) as he registered 26 points, six rebounds and nine rebounds. He also went 18 for 18 from the free-throw line.
