SENECA, SC (September 29, 2008) -- The men's golf team played in the Southern Wesleyan's Jack Shadwick Fall Invitational at the Cross Creek Country Club, in Seneca, South Carolina on Monday and Tuesday, September 29th & 30th, 2008. 
 
The Cavaliers did not have their best tournament of the fall at the Jack Shadwick.  On Monday the team shot a 321 and followed with a 322 in the second round to finish 8th of 11 teams at the tournament.
 
Junior Nathan Blankenship from Paris, Texas lead the way for the men's golf team.  Nathan finished tied for second in the tournament with rounds of 72 and 75 for a 147, (2) shots behind the winner.  This is the second tournament in a row that Nathan has made the All Tournament team.

The Cavaliers next tournament will be October 6th & 7th at the AAC Fall Conference tournament in Bristol, Tennessee at the Country Club of Bristol.  Both the men and women's teams will be playing in the tournament.
