Coach Mooberry says, "Samie is our first official JV signee. We are excited to have her as part of the program. She visited and really enjoyed the school and the team. She has been playing as a setter for the last year and I think she will be a strong contributor to our JV program and continue to develop as a setter."

Samie is also excited to be a part of the Montreat team. "Volleyball is my release from all things that could possibly worry me. It was obvious when I visited Montreat that it was perfect for me. I truly feel like it is right where God wants me to be."
