Co-Head Coaches Craig Jackson and Brooke Carrigan-Jackson are excited to announce that the Montreat College Women's Basketball schedule has been set for the 2010-11 season.

The Cavaliers open the season at home on Oct. 30, vs. Toccoa Falls, along with five additional home match-ups before Christmas break. Once again the Cavaliers are challenging Division one foes with games vs. College of Charleston, Charleston Southern, UNC-Asheville and Gardner Webb University.

When the Cavaliers return from the break, AAC Conference action opens up with the first of 14 conference games taking place at Bryan College, on Jan. 5th. The Cavaliers will make their run at an AAC Championship when tournament play begins Feb. 21st.

"Our schedule allows us to have an opportunity to grow as a team while we challenge ourselves to get better. We have an oustanding non-conference scheule that should prepare us for the always difficult AAC," says Jackson.

Montreat is coming off of their first 20 win season in almost a decade and and 8-8 conference record for the 2009-10 season.
