The Montreat College men's soccer coaching staff has announced the signing of Adrian Erwin.  Erwin, a central defensive player, joins the Cavalier soccer team for the fall 2010 season.
 
The Mandeville, Jamaica native is the son of Donna Griffiths-Campbell and Cecil Erwin.  He attended deCarteret College and captained his soccer club, Team Atlantica, from 2005-2007.Erwin had the following to say about choosing Montreat College.  "I believe this institution will assist me in becoming a distinguished individual in society as well as attaining my life's goals and objectives.  I was further drawn to Montreat after discovering that it is a Christ-centered institution."
 
Head Coach Brenton Benware is anxious for Erwin's arrival: "Adrian is a great fit for Montreat: loves the Lord; great student; great player.  He adds even more depth to our defense and is a really gifted athlete and team leader.  His presence will be immediately felt here."

Montreat College is a Christ-centered liberal arts institution with its main campus for four-year traditional students in Montreat. The accelerated School of Professional and Adult Studies program has campuses in Asheville, Charlotte, and Black Mountain.
