The Montreat College Men's Basketball Team is proud to announce the signing of Daniel Kehler to the 2010-2011 roster.  "I am excited about the opportunity Montreat has given me to be a part of this family over the next few years.  I love the Christian environment the school has to offer and the way I will be challenged on the court to be a better person and player," says Daniel.  Kehler averaged 19.7 points per game, 3.9 assist, and over 4 steals a game his senior year at Marion Christian Academy, in Marion, North Carolina.  Daniel, a first team All-Conference player, help lead his team to place 4th in the Nation in the NACA National Tournament held in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Marion Christian finished with a record of 23-9 on the season, and 9-1 in their conference.

 "Daniel is the type of player every coach loves to have on their team.  His work ethic on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom is unparalleled.  He takes it personally to get batter every day.  I'm looking forward to having him as a part of our team next year" says Head Coach Lincoln Walters.  Daniel joins the Montreat family via Milligan College where he played his first year on the Buffs Junior Varsity team.  He will red shirt this upcoming season as he prepares for the 2011-2012 year.
