St. Stephens High School's standout Kailtyn Clontz has signed to play basketball starting this fall at Montreat College. During her high school stint, Kailtyn averaged 16.7 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, and 3.4 assist per game.  She shot 37 percent from the arc and 78 percent from the free throw line.

Kaitlyn was also named Offensive MVP her junior and senior years at St. Stephens. Clontz was also selected to the All Unifour Team her senior year.
 
Head Coach Todd Davis describes Clontz as a versatile player that can play every position on the floor when called upon. "She is a perfect example of a blue collar athlete willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done both in the classroom and in the athletic arena".
