On Wednesday, November 18, Montreat played a game of greater significance when they invaded Milligan College for their first Appalachian Athletic Conference contest and fell 73-62 to drop to 5-2, 0-1 in the AAC.  The Buffaloes started quickly and seized a 40-29 halftime lead; a second half stalemate led to the final margin.  

Stephanie Morrison led three players in double figures with 12 points, while Chaecie Bullock and Tahjma Gabriel each added 10.  That Whitney Boone and Gabriel led the Lady Cavaliers with four rebounds apiece hints at the rebounding superiority of the Buffaloes, who won the battle of the boards 37-23.

Bluefield College's visit to campus on November 21 for a 2:00 tip-off presents the Lady Cavaliers with their next chance to gain their first AAC win and continue their strong early-season play.
