The volleyball squad sent the ladies from Bluefield College home quickly last night in a home match ending 3-0 for Montreat. Bluefield never scored more than 13 points in a set, as the match unfolded 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

Allie Baumgartner recorded five aces on the night, and Liz Huitron added two of her own. Alyssa Kaufman worked for nine digs along with Hannah Bostic defensively, who nabbed two solo blocks and two block assists in the match.

Anna Stephenson had 12 kills, one solo block and four block assists last night and Natalie Nieman posted 18 assists, four aces and eight digs as the ladies cruised on to a 21-14 overall record and 10-2 AAC record.

Coach Mooberry says, "It was a good win. The girls had set goals for themselves and were able to accomplish those goals. It might be the most 'together, team oriented' win we've had. I was very proud of the girls."

The ladies will continue their conference play tonight in an away game with Reinhardt College.
