Travis Williams joins Montreat's squad this fall
Head Men's Basketball Coach Jonathan Bennett is glad to announce today that Travis Williams, a 6'0 point guard from Chapel Hill, NC has just signed to play ball with the Cavaliers this fall. Williams, a recent graduate of Chapel Hill High School, where he played under head coach Tod Morgan, plans to major in History at Montreat College. Travis is the son of Bookie and Joni Williams, natives and of Chapel Hill, NC.
During his high school career, Travis was given the Tiger Pride Award his senior year at Chapel Hill High for athletic and academic excellence. He also earned the Assist to Turnover Ratio award after his sophomore and junior years at East Chapel Hill High School.
Travis says, "As soon as I drove through the Montreat gate and set foot on campus, I knew I wanted to be here. It just felt right."
Coach Bennett and the rest of Travis' team mates agree, and join in the rest of the Montreat College community welcoming Travis and his family to the college!
