KINGSPORT, TN (May 4, 2009) -- The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced Monday the baseball conference awards for 2009.  Senior Jesse Wise and junior Cameron Duckworth were selected to the AAC All-Conference team. 

Through their tournament game with Covenant, Wise has a .394 batting average and ten homeruns for the year.  Duckworth is batting .338 and has 24 homeruns on the year.

Seven Cavaliers earned AAC All-Academic: Gino Sanchez, Jonathan Madera, Garrett Jones, David Flanagan, J.J. Estevez, Cam Duckworth, and Seth Blevins. Tied with Covenant, Montreat and the Scots had the most student-athletes named to the AAC All-Academic.
