KINGSPORT, TN (April 29, 2009) -- After a tough loss yesterday in the opening round of the AAC Softball Tournament, the Montreat College women's softball team was hoping to rebound today.  The Cavaliers faced Tennessee Wesleyan in the loser's bracket in a 1:00 pm start time. 

Errors plagued the Cavaliers throughout the game, while Tennessee Wesleyan came to play.  The Bulldogs ousted the Cavs 4-1.  The loss brings the #2 Montreat College's softball season to a surprisingly early end. The Cavs finish at 22-22 for the 2009 season.
