KINGSPORT, TN (April 28, 2009) -- The #2 seeded Montreat College softball team played #7 seed King College tonight in the first round of the AAC Softball Tournament in Kingsport, TN.  The game was tied 3-3 in the fifth inning.  King was able to take the game 5-4 over the Cavs.

Montreat now drops into the loser bracket and will face Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday in a 1:00 start time. 
Milligan who had the #1 seed fell to #8 seed Covenant College as well today.  Covenant, UVA-Wise, Virginia Intermont and King advance in the winner's bracket.
