MONTREAT, NC (April 27, 2009) -- The Appalachian Athletic Conference has selected Erin Cross as the AAC Softball Player of the Week for April 27, 2009.  Erin marks the second Cavalier from the softball team to earn the Player of the Week honor.  Teammate Tameron Sealey has been selected twice this season.
 
Erin went 4-for-11 for the Cavs last week, batting .364. She hit a two-run homerun against Tusculum and hit a walkoff solo home run to end the game against Covenant College.
 
Cross is a junior at Montreat College and a native of Morganton, NC.
