MONTREAT, NC (April 21, 2009) -- Freshman centerfielder, Tameron Sealey was recognized this week as the AAC Softball Player of the Week for her performance for her stellar performance last week, especially versus Bluefield College. The honor marks Tameron's second POW this season.
 
In their doubleheader against AAC opponent Bluefield College, Sealey went 6-for-8  in the Cavaliers' leadoff position.  Against Virginia Intermont, Sealey went 4-for-6.
 
Tameron currently leads her team and #2 in the AAC in batting average (.408) and stolen bases and #2 in the AAC with 19.
