(North Greenville, 4/8/2009)  The Montreat College softball team split on the road at North Greenville. 

The Cavaliers won the first game 2-1.  Jamie Poling and Kerby Barkdoll were both 1 for 3 with a RBI.  The game was scoreless after seven innings and went to an eigth.  Montreat struck in the top of the eight, scoring both of their runs.  North Greenville could only muster a single run in the bottom of the inning, giving Montreat the win.  Rachel Stowe pitched a complete game in the win.

In game two, the Cavailers would be shut out by North Greenville.  Montreat would only manage three hits in the game as North Greenville won 3-0. Meredith Mitchell records the loss.
