(King College, 4/4/2009)  The Montreat College softball team traveled to King College for a double-header.  Montreat would sweep King on the day. 

Montreat won game one by a score of 5-2.  Montreat would collect thirteen hits in the game, lead by Tameron Sealy who went 3 for 4.  She would also steal a base. Amy Vogel, Amber Summerow, Erin Cross, Olivia Huffman all went two for four at the plate.  The Cavaliers had five different players with one RBI.  Rachel Stowe pitched a complete game in the win. 

Montreat won game two in extra innings. Montreat would score in the top of the eigth, but King responded and sent the game to the ninth inning.  Montreat took a one run lead to the bottom of the ninth, and would  hold on to win the game 5-4.  Tiffiany Davis, Amber Summerow, and Olivia Huffman all went 2 for 4 in the game and collected an RBI each. Tameron Sealy went 2 for 4 and stole 3 bases.  Rachel Stowe collected the win.
