Montreat College shot a second round of 356 in the spring Appalachian Athletic Conference golf tournament to finish the regular in second place behind Tennessee Wesleyan College.  Going in to the AAC conference direct qualifier for the NAIA Women's National Championship Golf Tournament the standing are Tennessee Wesleyan in 1st place, Montreat College in second and Union College in third.

Ashley Mitcham - (Jr. Waynesville, NC) made the all tournament team with a fifth place finish.  Ashley shot 86-87 for a two day total of 173.

The player of the year will be determined after the two rounds of the AAC direct qualifier plus the foru rounds ot the two regular season conference tournaments, as will the top five individuals for AAC All conference women's golf team.
