The Montreat College Lady Cavaliers Women's Golf Team was in third place after two rounds of the Fall Appalachian Athletic Conference Golf Tournament.  In first place was Tennessee Wesleyan With a two round total of 729.  In second place was Union College with a two round total of 756.  Montreat College was in third with a two round total of 763.  King College was in fourth with a two round total of 768.

 

Starting the first round of the AAC spring conference tournament, Montreat was 7 shots out of second place.  After the round was complete, Montreat made up the 7 shots and finished ahead of Union by ten more shots.  After three rounds of the conference tournament, Tennessee Wesleyan is still in first with a total of 1072, TWC shot 343 inthe first round on Monday of the spring tournament.  Montreat is in second with a total of 1130, Montreat shot 367 on Monday.  Union College was in third with a total of 1140, Union shot 384 on Monday.

Ashley Mitcham - (Jr. Waynesville, NC) with a 86.

Caitlin Dempsey - (Soph. Brandford, Fla.) with a 92.

Brittany Zachrich - (Fr. Hickory, NC) with a 92.

Aimee Turner - (Jr. China Grove, NC) with a 97.

 

The final round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Golf Tournament concludes on Tuesday, April 7th, at the Springbrook Country Club in Athens, Tennessee
