MONTREAT, NC (February 2, 2009) --  Head Men's Soccer Coach, Brenton Benware announced today the addition of Robby Gaddy to the Montreat College Men's Soccer team.  Gaddy who comes to Montreat this Spring is a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School.
 
Gaddy played Club soccer for the locally respected 90 HFC Red for six years.  When asked why he came to Montreat College, Robby responded that it was to: "get closer to God and to get my degree in history so I can be a high school History teacher." 

With the May graduation of Jon Viana and Chad Britts, Coach Benware is excited about the addition of Robby to the program.  "Since we graduate two senior defenders this year, we're really working to replenish our defensive unit.  We're confident that Robby will be a great addition to our defensive side of play, as he brings a tenacious style of play and several years of experience at that position.  We're excited to add him to our Montreat soccer family!"

Robby is the son of Bob and Kathy Gaddy.
